  1. Hi Max, thanks for sharing this beautiful App.

I have a question. I did some little changes. For example, title, name of applications, I added more prior (+3) (+4) etc.

Now I want to upgrade to V 1.2.6 but I don't want to lose all changes I made.

Can you please let me know or let us to know what file and peace of code should I change to be up to date?.

It's necessary to upload all files again to be up to date? or in which files you have done changes since v 1.2.4?

    Thanks Max!! Cheers!

  4. Hi,

May you add user login and managament system for this script? And I think categories 'like vbulletin forums' may more usefully?

Alternate for user system. Password for Categories?

This script is very good for personal uses. But i think small teams can use this script. But must include some private fields for admins and mods?

  5. Hi Max, do you think would be possible or useful for farther versions to put in a little corner the hour and date when a POST or Tinytodo was created?

    Thanks!

  6. @Anonymous: I yet have not found the answer how to combine collaboration with easy personal usage.

  7. @Electropollux: to see the creation date of tasks just remove 'display:none;' definition for .task-date class in style.css.

  8. Hi Max,

    I like your todo program.

My thought on development.. kind of wishlist actually

I know you called it myTinyToDo, and I know you're busy with further re-writes as I write this - but I see maximum use of this app in a collaborative manner. Alice sees Bob's Todo, and in the way google allows you to view/edit the documents, is able to annotate the line items that are present. I know for you this might be interesting enough that you might get to it sooner than I can.

    Regards,

    gsvolt [gsvolt.mine.nu]

  9. Done!!! Thanks Max.

I have created 3 different TinyToDo and I have given them a different utility.

One for remember ToDo routine things like Pay Bills, Call this person, go to this place, etc.

    One for Ideas/Creative/Own Projects/ ..

And the other one is like my own Twitter or personal microblogging to post stupid or philosophical things that I sometimes think.

The "Anonymous" idea wouldn't be bad.. Would be cool if you can create different accounts, groups or categories in just one domain or folder installation...

    See you man! K.F.

  10. Hello,

Love the script and I have an idea that could make it even better. The ability to add tags via syntax when adding tasks. For example words surrounded by * could be parsed as tags.

    examples:

    do laundry *home*
go to the bank *finance* *business*

  11. @Electropollux: Next version v1.3 will support multiple task lists.

@Kjeldgaard: myTinyTodo already have similar syntax: /priority/ Tasks /tag1,tag2/

  12. That sounds cool!! waiting for it then! Thanks.

  13. This is really great -- tempted to hack keyboard shortcuts and task lists into it myself but I think I'll wait and see what future versions hold.

  14. I have noticed that PRIOR SORT isn't saved after you close the program. Every time I open I have to set the DATE prior favorite by myself. Would be cool is this setting is saved somewhere. Thanks!! Polux.

  15. @Polux: Sort setting should be saved in cookies. What browser did you use? Is the same issue on the demo page: http://www.pozdeev.com/mytinytodo/demo/ ?

  17. I am loving your app! I almost hate to make a suggestion, because there are so many great things already implemented. However, I really like the system for Drupal's menus, where you can not only drag items up and down, but also left and right, to create parent items. I could see this as useful for when there are several sub-tasks.

If you're not familiar with drupal, login to the administrator backend here:
    http://php.opensourcecms.com/scripts/details.php?scriptid=191
and navigate to Administer > Site Building > Menus > Navigation

  19. Max, I'm using Firefox 3.5.2. I've noticed that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I'll try the demo to be sure then. Thanks!!! Polux.

  21. Hi, I just wanted to say thanks for this great app. Well done and keep up the good work.

  22. Great App. I notice you have a PDA style sheet but this app does not seem to work on any of my mobile devices. The page loads but no tasks are displayed. The same is true for the demo site. The devices do all support javascript. Any reason why the tasks will not show?

  23. Hi,

I have a problem to install...

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '{' in /homez.47/jeanlain/www/todo/setup.php on line 39

    Do you know why ?

    Thanks a lot !

  24. @Anonymous: What browser did you use? WinMobile Internet Explorer doesn't supported.

@Mickael: What version of PHP do you use?

    ReplyDelete
  25. @Max

By default it's PHP Version 4.4.9 but if I modify .htaccess tu put 'SetEnv PHP_VER 5'in, i can change to PHP Version 5.2.10.

That's done but it still doesn't work :(
